Vintage "Selene" stacking chairs in bright orange by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, circa 1970s.
Conceived in 1961 and produced in 1969 after years of tweaking, the Selene chair is an iconic design and sought to put plastic on the map as a material that could represent elegance. Magistretti's chair is part of the permanent collection at MoMA.
Fiberglass reinforced-plastic. Age-appropriate wear throughout as reflected in photos. Scratches and minor chips. Structurally sound; no cracks.
