Primitive Cupboard

Primitive turn of the century pine cupboard. Skilled craftsmanship is reflected in this piece; featuring mortise and tenon joints, a frame and panel door, and iron hardware. 

The cupboard also retains its original hand painted quarter sawn oak graining; a common way of finishing furniture in order to improve its appearance at the time.

 Condition is reflected in images; piece is ever-so-slightly wobbly on one leg. A shim has worked well in the studio.
